How To Train oJoy To Write Like You (Or anyone else for that matter.)

This works in Project Shepherd, And ReWrite.

Only do this step AFTER you've written your rough draft.

Here's the prompt I'm using. I paste the writing samples BELOW the prompt:

“Here is a sample of my writing, pasted below in brackets. Please read every single word and learn my writing style and tone so you can write EXACTLY like me.  I ONLY want you to use this to learn my writing style and tone. Do NOT use any of the information below as a source for any content you write:

How To Write An Email Sequence Based On An Existing Sales Letter

This approach works in Project Shepherd and in Rewrite.

You can also give it webinar transcripts, video transcripts, VSL transcripts, etc.

How To Turn A Losing Sales Letter Into A Winner

A few things to notice here:

1. I breeze through the creation of the rough draft (because we make it cool later.)

2. When you see me pasting stuff into a Google Doc, that's just me pasting each section of my rough draft ...so I can copy/paste the whole thing at once when I rewrite it.

This will show you how to get it to make great content that sounds cool ...right off the bat.

And most importantly, PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I'M DOING AT THE END 🙂

You'll see how I get it to take the rough draft ...and make it 20X better by going into BEAST MODE.

(Beast Mode is just a series of steps you do when it's time to really make a sales letter command the reader.)

Beast Mode 1 - Say this:

“Okay, now I want you to read the sales letter in its entirety and then come up with 10 really hard core and hard-hitting direct response headline ideas for it.  Use every direct response bit of knowledge that you have. Anything you know about direct response, use it to come up with these 10 different headline ideas. I want it to be so compelling that it just grabs them by the throat and forces them to start reading this letter Give me 10 ideas for headlines."

Then it’ll write you 10 headlines.

You might like one, you might not.

Regardless, say this next:

Beast Mode 2: “Let's make them even more hardcore, even more aggressive, even bigger promises, even more curiosity.”

It’ll give you some more.

You might like one. If you do, go to step four.

If you want more headlines, say this next:

Beast Mode 3: “Okay, now let's take those and make them five times more dramatic, more curiosity-driven, more hardcore, more intense, just completely over the top. Let's see what you can do without making anything up and without lying.”

It’ll write you some completely ridiculous headlines (and some might be awesome).

Beast Mode 4:

Pick a headline from any of the three “beast mode” sessions that you like.

Then tell it “I like this headline (and paste the headline here).”

Then hit enter.

It’ll tell you how smart you are for picking that headline etc …

You know how polite oJoy is …

Next, it's time to ...

ACTIVATE BEAST MODE:

Now say “Okay now make the beginning of the sales letter match that style and tone of the new headline so that naturally segues into the sales letter”

Then it will write the first part for you.

You'll notice that it's dramatically different from the rough draft.

Let it write the rest and then edit/tweak it as you see fit 👍

Get UNLIMITED Ideas From ANYWHERE.

This approach works really well if you see content from a different industry that could be useful in YOUR industry.

Instead of cloning it (lame) it re-writes it so it's authentically yours.

Here are the exact steps to take and the the “prompts” I used:

Paste Youtube transcript, article, blog post, etc into Project Shepherd and tell it to read every word so that it knows the subject matter perfectly.

Like this:

“I'm going to give you the transcripts to a YouTube video and I want you to read them and extract all of the information that you find valuable and just make an outline of what it teaches for me. I'll put it in brackets below.

[Paste Stuff In Brackets Here]

Then tell it this:

“OK. Now I want you to think of any content ideas we can use from this [transcript, article, or whatever]. Specifically, I'm looking for situations where I can teach some of these concepts in my content and then relate those concepts to [YOUR STUFF (for example “A.I. Copywriting)].

I want you to take the most relevant and interesting concepts and relate them to [YOUR STUFF] in general, and then give some helpful tips.

(Then it’ll give you some ideas.)

Then ask it this:

Is there a way to ethically use these concepts without plagiarizing the original creator?

I want to make sure the concepts we’re talking about aren’t completely unique to the original source. We need to make sure we’re using concepts and ideas that are essentially universal.

If you need to, remind it to include actionable and helpful tips in the content by saying this:

Remember, we need to give actionable tips on [YOUR STUFF] these.

Then let it write one of the content suggestions for you.

Adjust the style and tone, length, etc. AFTER it writes the first draft.

How To Make Boring Stuff Cooler.

You can even make COOL stuff cooler.

This video shows you how to find the cool hook for any content ...and then re-write it with that new angle.

This can be used for content, sales letters, emails, or anything else.

This will show you how to get it to make great content that sounds cool ...right off the bat.
