Step 1

Find Your Chat in Project Shepherd

  • Open Project Shepherd (or Project Papillon — same idea)
  • Locate the giant chat you want to move over
  • Click the three-dot menu next to the chat and select Copy

Step 2

Paste Into a Google Doc or Text File

  • Open a Google Doc or plain text file
  • Paste the copied chat content in
  • Format as plain text for cleanest results (Google Docs is easiest)
  • Save the file to your desktop — name it something obvious like big-chat.txt

Step 3

Create a New Project in oJoy

  • Go to Projects inside oJoy
  • Create a new project folder (keep things organized — it also uses fewer points)
  • Click Upload inside the project

Step 4

Upload the Chat File

  • Select the text file you saved in Step 2
  • Upload takes a few seconds — it's fast
  • Your chat is now living inside your Project

Step 5

Reference the File With @ and Pick Up Where You Left Off

  • In the chat bar, type @ and start typing the file name — it'll appear in the dropdown
  • Now just ask it anything about the previous session
  • Example: "Do you remember the hook framework session? Tell me what you know about that."
  • You can now continue with the same context — same frameworks, same work — in a brand new chat
